Why Ceremony?

Ceremony is a place of reflection and creation that accesses our PURE potential.

~Lisa Lanzetta

I’m always touting ceremony and its importance for a well balanced life, here are some of the reasons why.

Ceremony is how we shift the voices of conditioning and transmute them into the voice of the soul to SEE with new eyes...our lives, our desires, our dreams and our circumstances.

Ceremony is a place of reflection and creation that accesses our PURE potential.

Ceremony is a way to connect to something deeper within ourselves and something greater than ourselves.

Ceremony is a way to dissolve the harsh ego and step into SACRED SPACE to hear that sweet small TRUE voice.

With all this cool shit being ‘in ceremony’ has to offer, I’m always surprised how much personal resistance there is around holding your own private ceremony on a regular basis.

What is there to fear?

Doing something new?

Am I doing it right?

What if I screw it up?

Or…does something inside you really not want to access your pure potential? That might mean changing something about your life, freaking scary, right?

Nope, not if you just create and be in ceremony, let the ceremony itself make it less scary.

Maybe don’t go to ceremony with an intention for outcome? Go instead with curiosity.

Your SOUL knows, it’s the mind that gets in the way.

Let’s say you are looking for clarity on a certain issue or project, just go to ceremony and CLAIM clarity. Then, stay awake as to what pops through over the next week. Pay attention!

Then you are playing in the field of potential. Woohoo!

There are many ways to create ceremony.

I like to play with the elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. Sometimes all at once.

My favorite is fire because it is a strong energy and it can bring about RAPID change.

If you want a wee bit mellower shift, Earth and water are your go to’s.

Air is fun to play with when you have a big dream you want to blow in all the directions for amplification. (like prayer flags)

We don’t just have to be getting married, or graduating, or having a baby you get the picture.

I recco to start getting comfy with ceremony just set aside once a month for your sweet self.

Some of you meditate every day, add a little oomph of ceremony before or after. Get creative! Have FUN! Leave your seriousness behind and bring on your DELIGHT!

Here are some great ideas to get your juices flowing!
